Very disappointed in the cleanliness and having to fight ants all weekend. Found dirty dishes- and molded pet food under couch. Ants were so bad and had clearly been an ongoing issue as was evidenced by all the ant spray and traps. We had ants get into our bedding and crawling on us. Absolutely a stressor all weekend. Side note- bed upstairs isn’t a bed- but a thin mattress on the floor. Tough to sleep on. As a side sleeper- my hip bone was sore from the wooden floor beneath the thin mattress. Tried the couch the 2nd night and it was awful. The futon style fold out was not “queen size”. The step down from the loft bed is rather treacherous in the middle of the night when you’re half asleep. This is visible in the pictures and probably should have been a flag for me. The check in was simple and the property is located in a peaceful neighborhood.
