Beautiful apartment located in the heart of the old town. The apartment is spacious for two people, and is decorated with a lot of taste. The check-in was very smooth, and the apartment was very clean. Would stay again in a heartbeat!
Carmen’s apartment is lovely! It’s decorated beautifully, it was super clean upon arrival and the location is right in the heart of Valencia, making it a short walk from anything within the bounds of the Turia. Carmen and her associate are super friendly and helpful, and even accommodated me by allowing me to check in a few hours early!

A really lovely apartment, in an amazing location. The living space and bedroom were really comfortable; bath and shower were excellent; the kitchen area was fine for basic meal prep (could do with a few more utensils for any serious cooking); WiFi was outstanding. No traffic noise at all. The location could not have been better for accessing the many attractions of the Old Town. Situated directly opposite La Lonja de la Seda, and with a balcony overlooking Plaza de la Companyia and the Basilica del Sagrat, there was always plenty going on. The Central Market and plenty of restaurants, bars and shops were literally just around the corner, and the Cathedral just 5 minutes walk. Communication with Carmen (and friend) was great. We needed a late check-in; Carmen arranged for a trusted taxi driver to pick us up from the airport and hand over the keys. Perfect! Just one downside: inconsiderate noisy people outside throughout the night, so if you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs!

The apartment is located on a building from the 18th Century, right behind La Lonja, one of the most popular monuments in Valencia and you will enjoy a nice view of this impressive building. And it is in one of the most nice streets "El Carmen" neighbourhood, in the heart of the Old Town. El Carmen, distinguished by its medieval-style narrow streets, short old buildings and lots of local color, is considered one of the most special neighbourhoods of Valencia. Strolling around and getting lost is a pretty exciting experience here!
The area surrounding the apartment is full of nice cafes, restaurants, bars and small shops and all major cultural attractions in the Old Town are within few minutes walking distance.
For groceries, the Valencian Central Market, considered one of Europe's largest and oldest running fresh produce markets, is just around the corner. There you will find the best fresh food you can find in the city: fish, seafood, vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, dried fruit, bakeries…400 stalls and more than 8,000 m² inside a really beautiful structure made out of ceramic, stone, marble, iron and mosaics... A "must" visit!
In 8 min. walking distance you will find the biggest green area of Valencia, on the old riverbed, hence its non-official name El Río (the river), as we locals say. People go there for running, walking, cycling (there are different tracks for doing it) or for doing picnic in the shade of the trees!
Please note If you're coming by car, it's important to note that private vehicle access is prohibited in the historic center, and the street is pedestrianized. Therefore, you will need to park your vehicle in a nearby parking facility.
When arriving by plane (Airport VLC), the easiest and most comfortable option is to take a taxi from the airport. I can book a taxi for you. Driver will pick you up at the airport and will take you to the apartment for a fix price. Let me know if you want me to book it for you!
The Nord Train Station (Estació del Nord) is around 1 km / 10 min. walking distance.
If you arrive by high-speed AVE train, the "Joaquín Sorolla" train station is about 1.8 km away. / 25 min. walking distance. A taxi will take approximately 10 min. (approx. 8-10€ EUR).
