Reconnect with nature at this unforgettable escape. Experience living in a tiny home in the middle of the redwood forest and at only 4 miles from beautiful deserted beaches! La Boheme tiny home sits at the end of a 4.2 mile dirt drive from the coast, within Sun Gap Farm, my 1.3 acre parcel of land in Whitehouse Canyon--a coastal mountain community that was affected by the fire. Many of us, including me, are still recovering from the fire and in rebuild mode. The woods are also recovering, and the vegetation has grown back and lush. A 4x4 vehicle is preferable, but any car can make the drive. Sorry, your car will get dusty! In the property there are majestic redwood trees, a vegetable garden, an orchard and a small greenhouse where I propagate native plants. I also live in the property in another small outbuilding. With me there are three cats and two farm dogs. Please, do not bring any pets with you. If you have pet allergies, this is unfortunately not a good place for you to stay. La Boheme is an 8'x24' tiny house, with a small full bathroom with shower, sink and flush toilet, and a loft with queen size mattress. In the main room is a kitchen essentially equipped and a living area with couch and wood stove. Cubbies and hooks are available to store and hang your belonging. Outside is a parking space within a gate, a patio with table and chairs, a fire pit area and a barbecue for entertaining yourself outdoors. If the sky is clear, the stars are absolutely stunning out here! If you like nature, this is a great spot: the beach is just 4.2 miles down the road and the trails to Big Basin Redwoods State Park are just around the corner--I am an experienced hiker and have plenty of maps and recommendation on which trails to walk!
