We are Sophie and Peter, two passionate globetrotters and bon vivants. A few years ago, we fell in love with each other and a charming little villa from the 60s, situated on the edge of Parkbos, near our hometown Ghent. We paused our travels for a while and thoroughly renovated the old villa into the vintage gem it is today, with a contemporary reinterpretation of the cheerfulness characteristic of mid-century style. Although the final touches still need to be made, we are eager to share our dream home with you. An oasis on the green outskirts of Ghent Waking up to a gentle breeze that takes you on a new adventure is what our B&B promises. With just one room available, we assure you of a personal touch during your stay of at least two nights. Escape the everyday in our cozy guest room, your haven for worldly adventures and serene tranquility. The room offers you a twin bed with a king-size down comforter. A built-in desk invites you to jot down your day's experiences. The shared bathroom has a spacious walk-in shower, double sink, and a standalone bath. Your home away from home In the morning, we're delighted to spoil you with a simple breakfast: a warm cup of coffee or tea, a pastry or toast, and a fresh egg. A peaceful start to your day, with all the time to enjoy the little things. Dip your feet into the cool water of our swimming pool, open from 4:00 to 6:00 PM during the summer months. We're happy to provide you with tips to make your stay a success: hiking opportunities in the area, restaurants every foodie should try, must-visit sites, local events, and more. Getting here We're just a stone's throw from the train station, highway, and bicycle highway. You can park your car on our property. If you're on an (electric) bike, it can be safely parked (and charged) in our covered garage. Go on a micro-adventure The historic heart of Ghent is only a 10-minute drive (15 to 20 minutes by bike). Visit the belfry and the beguinages, both UNESCO World Heritage sites.
