Pietro’s place is very centrally located and extremely convenient to the La Spezia Central Station where you can take the train to all 5 towns of Cinque Terre very easily. It is located near many restaurants as well that we enjoyed meals at during our stay including Osteria Della Corte and Roma Restaurant. The apartment itself is well kept and clean and extremely spacious (considering there were 5 of us in this apt with plenty of space). Very cool apartment with a central courtyard inside and amazingly high ceilings that make the space feel even bigger than you think it’ll be! Pietro and his mother Antonella are also amazing hosts. Antonella walked us through the apartment including how to open the front door which was much needed :) The apartment also had access to a parking space available to us (additional small charge) which Pietro kindly provided (and parked our midsize SUV for us). If we were to come back to La Spezia anytime soon, we would highly recommend considering their lovely spot!

Just stop looking and book Pietro’s place. The location near the train and restaurants are perfect. The apartment is huge and well equipped for any need!! I would recommend it to anyone!

This apartment is stunning, so spacious and clean and tastefully decorated. It has all the amenities you require and a lift, so no carrying heavy luggage up flights of stairs. The apartment is very well located, Piazza Saint Bon is at the end of pedestrian walkway and 5 minutes walk to the train station and a casual 15-20 minutes to the harbour. Communication with Pietro was very easy and he was extremely helpful. We were met by the host's parents who were also absolutely delightful, so friendly and welcoming. They were able to answer all our questions in regards to the local places to eat and also provide information about visiting the Cinque Terre. There are several shops nearby in the mall for bread, milk, butter etc. The apartment has a full size fridge. We loved staying here with our son and his wife and would have no hesitation in highly recommending this apartment to anyone looking at La Spezia for a base to explore the surrounding area. PS A visit to Porto Venere by boat or bus is a must!
