We were three days at Tim& Kate’s and felt like home. They have all you could need and even more: plenty of music, books, games, chimney, kitchen with all amenities. The house was clean and the bed and couch very confortable. The place was really close to cordes-sur-ciel (walkable distance) and to other places such Albi, Najac or saint antonin noble val. We fell in love with their cozy house
The apartment in Les Cabannes was perfect for two friends traveling together. We appreciated the privacy provided by the four-story layout with bathrooms on two floors. The kitchen was fabulous, fitted with a washing machine and supplied with a range of spices, tablewear, pots, etc., allowing for good meals. The location -- near the historic hilltowns of Cordes and Albi -- but in a quiet village and close to paths was perfect for walking.
A lovely, relaxing stay at Les Cabannes! A peaceful and spacious home with a handy book and lots of amenities. Nice touches of the essentials upon arrival- especially when arriving late or on a day when things are closed.
Buena casa en zona tranquila. Mejor ubicada que en el centro de Cordes si quieres estar tranquilo y aparcar cerca. No pasamos calor, es una casa muy fresca. Todo bien ordenado, limpio y buen detalle a la llegada con algo de pan, mantequilla, vino y cervezas. La casa merece la pena para pasar unos días por la zona.
Belle maison ancienne sur 3 étages. Le RDC était super frais, quelle joie par la chaleur qui régnait… Maison très bien équipée et super accueil! Merci bcp!

Kate manages the Petworth arts festival in the UK and Tim is an accountant. We love the countryside, music, wine, good food and France. We have been travelling to the medieval bastide town of Cordes sur Ciel, in the midi Pyrenees since 1998 in our 1969 MGB Roadster. We bought our beautiful little house at the foot of Cordes in the small village of Les Cabannes, walking distance from Cordes, and off a quiet square near the river Cerou, in 2016. We live in the South of England, and wish we had more holiday time to visit Cordes.
