It was a cost-effective and good stay at Smiley Inn. Very close to the MRT and lots of choices of restaurants around. It would have been better if I could get the check-in/check-out instructions one day prior to my arrival and departure.

The place was great! It's right at the heart of Ximending which means easy access to the best local spots for food and drinks. Booking was a breeze, too. The highlight though was the customer service. Derrick was an amazing host; he was very quick to reply to inquiries and requests, even going the extra mile for some. He was such a warm and sweet presence during my entire stay. The place can use a bidet, but other than that, I loved it. I will definitely book with him again when I come back.

We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is close to both the MRT station and Ximending walking district which made exploring Taipei more convenient. Food spots and convenient stores are just at arms reach. When traveling, having a clean room and a comfortable bed are always at the top of my list, and Smiley Inn did not disappoint. We were able to have a short chat with Derick and his accommodating and friendly demeanor made our stay memorable. We would definitely recommend this place :)
