We had a great time at Masayuki's place in Gala. Was the perfect size for 10 of us. Very cool place and a wonderful place to celebrate my birthday.

Great house for all of us to stay. We were 13 and the dining room easily accommodated another 2 on one of the nights. House was easy to find and everything we needed was there. Would recommend and stay again.

A real castle, built in 1850, the facilities are complete, the room clean and tidy, the kitchen is very large, the facilities are complete, communicate in a timely manner, central heating, the children are very fond of exploring in the castle, great experience.

We had a wonderful weekend and were a party of 12 (7 adults and 5 teenagers). The house was great and the instructions we had from Masayuki covered everything. I had a couple of queries before we left and Masayuki responded very quickly and fully. We didn't use the games room, but between us the cinema room was well used - fab. We walked into town for dinner on our second night, the only option was Quinns (it was Sunday), and although we were dubious from the website, the food was fantastic as was the service (we went back for brunch the next day). The only downside were the cooking facilities at the house. We had dinner there the first night to celebrate a 50th birthday party. No starters and we had taken the deserts with us so all we had to do was cook the M&S food for the mains - the single oven in the main kitchen was small, and the other kitchen was two floors up, so there was a lot of running up stairs and juggling around. Even cooking 4 pizzas and some quiche for lunch the day after was tricky. For a house that can sleep and take care of 12 guests in every other way this was disappointing (plenty of tableware though). Fully recommended.
