Beautiful location and Jan was a great host! Be sure to take a walk around the trail on the property, where you will likely see some deer and a beautiful sunset!
Its a very cozy cabin in the country
Thank you for a wonderful weekend away… I thoroughly enjoyed your cozy cabin it was just what I needed. I loved seeing the many birds outside the front window and a peaceful quiet nights on top of the hill.
We booked a last minute weekend stay and are so happy we did! Jan’s place was exactly what we needed to relax and get away from the world for just a little while. Beautiful property and friendly host!
We had an amazing time exploring the property! Jan was very friendly and responsive. Sofa bed could use a new mattress, but everything else was as expected. Would love to make a return trip!

Arts and sports fan. Now retired, I have worked as a factory worker, advertising agent, professional singer/songwriter, Fortune 500 company house organ editor and convention coordinator and newspaper reporter and columnist. I enjoy watching most sports, golfing and bowling, museums and art fairs and, especially, travel. Laid back, easy-going - that would be me. Oh, I'm single, for what it's worth. I'll always be available, but like a good umpire, you won't even notice me. Just respect my property and we'll get along great. My place is close to Beautiful Atwood Lake. You’ll love my place because of the serenity of the rolling hills country, hiking trails over the 43 acres of land, the verdant lushness of spring and the glorious colors of fall. 30 minutes to the art and craft stores in Amish country, or the Pro Football Hall of Fame, the First Ladies Museum and fine restaurants in the Canton and Belden Village area. Pontoon and ski-boat rentals at the Atwood East Marina is a mile from the cabin. Live theater and professional sports teams in Cleveland and Pittsburgh are 90 minutes away. Cabin has heat and air conditioning for your comfort year around. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travelers.
