Our well-appointed holiday home has a relaxed vibe & offers spacious living for up to 4 people, with a suntrap garden. Fully refurbished in 2018, all mod cons, with a stylish 70s nostalgia interior. Award-winning Saunton Sands surf beach is 5 mins by car. The village of Braunton is 5 min walk, shops food and easy access to the Tarka Trail Dimmet is suitable for couples, families & friends - a great base to explore North Devon from or live/work guests looking for a bolthole with great broadband. We would really like you to feel like Dimmet is your family holiday home, without all the hassle of owning it. When we go away we want to concentrate on spending time together as a family and relaxing, so we've tried to make sure that everything you need is there - and more. Dimmet was totally renovated in 2016 and the resulting interior is trendy but relaxing, effortlessly combining vintage pieces with modern designer pieces. The rooms are large and spacious with wood floors throughout and the garden is private and south-facing. LOUNGE: The lounge space is a large room with 2 sofas and a really comfy chaise longue that is the sought after seat for our family. A large flatscreen smart TV is tucked away in the corner but can easily be swung out on the wall bracket to create a home cinema experience. There's full central heating in the house, but you can also use the logburner if required, just for that romantic touch! We have a few games in the lounge, a small selection of books, a record player and LP and we recommend that you find some 1970s programmes to watch on the TV so you can really time travel and escape! KITCHEN: The modern fitted kitchen has a Rangemaster cooker and Dualit kettle, toaster and coffee machine. All the crockery, cutlery and cookery equipment you could need is provided, as is a family sized fridge freezer. There is a dishwasher and a washer in the kitchen and the tumble drier is in the garage. The table easily seats 6 and can be extended for further seating if required. BATHROOM: The Roca bathroom suite was fitted when we renovated the property and provides loo, bath and shower over and basin. BEDROOM 1: We call this the garden bedroom as it has patio doors out into the garden. With a fullsized kingsize bed, topped with a Naturalmat mattress made in the UK and natural duvet, sleep is never a problem at Dimmet. There is a built-in wardrobe for your clothes and a hairdrier. We also have a Smart TV in this room if you need to escape for a while. Blackout curtains. BEDROOM 2: The beds in here can be single twin beds or zip and linked together to make a superking double bed, so a flexible solution to suit whoever you are travelling with. With a built-in wardrobe for your clothes, this provides another sizeable bedroom. Blackout curtains. PORCH: There is a sizeable inner porch on the front door for boots & coats. GARAGE: The garage is lockable and houses the tumble drier and garden furniture, as well as some beach things. Plenty of room for bikes to be stored in during your stay if required - please note you need to ensure that you have insurance cover for your belongings. GARDEN: The sizeable south facing garden provides a gorgeous suntrap for lazing around on one of our sun chairs. The garden is fenced all round and gated. It's such a peaceful place to just sit and hear the waves rolling in.
