Great location, walking distance to Newark centre and all shops and amenities. Very responsive communication and easy to access check in wise. Parking permit provided. House is a bit run down and not perhaps the cleanest, but ok.

This property is spacious, in a superb location, was warm and cosy and had good facilities bar an iron and ironing board. Parking was right outside on the street with a provided permit. We were welcomed and offered a lot of information. This could have been written so that we were un-interrupted whilst recognising that others may prefer this face-to-face approach. There were a couple of aspects that we found disconcerting. One was that the host entered the property while we were out to empty the washing machine without requesting entry. Another was that we initially thought we had come at the wrong time when others were staying as the freezer was full of food! The final issue was that there were tortilla chips on the living room floor and the carpets certainly needed a good hoover and the hoover provided was inadequate. The kitchen and bathroom were well equipped, clean and modern with hot water literally on tap! Overall a good stay and a few tweaks could have made it perfect.
