Experience peace of mind and body at this unique getaway. Foxfire Farm is a 10+ acre farm with a beautiful custom built farmhouse at the heart. Relax on the front porch in the morning sun or entertain in the evening on the expansive back porch overlooking the three acre pond. Here, you will be whisked back to a simpler time where you can slow down and really enjoy the beauty in everything around you. The farmhouse is a clever blend of functionality and heirloom details. Enter into a spacious open concept living area and kitchen, equipped with kitchen aid appliances including a gas stove. This is a chefs kitchen, so expect everything you need to whip up something delicious! From the antique crystal chandelier, to the beautiful reclaimed wood island and hood vent, the details in the kitchen are everything! Natural light fills the living room which has a gas fireplace and smart tv. The couch also pulls out to a queen bed. Just off this gathering space there is a small office with desk and a dining room with a large barn wood table that seats 6-8. The master suite boasts the same bespoke interiors as the rest of the house. Snuggle up in a queen bed arranged with plush pillows, or soak in a warm bath in the clawfoot tub. Everything about this bedroom is relaxing from the warm tones of the walls, to the feng shui of the space. Bedrooms 2 and 3 are on the other side of the house. Bedroom two also has a cozy queen bed and bedroom three has a quaint single bed. Each bedroom has views that overlook the water. The second and third bedroom share a jack and jill bathroom, with a half bath just around the corner. The lovely little half bathroom also leads out to the porch for easy access while outdoor entertaining. For your convenience there is a charming green laundry room with a new washer and dryer, cordless vacuum, and wash tub sink. The back porch has a large dining table and chairs for outdoor meals as well as a comfortable sitting area with coffee table. There are also fans to stay cool and keep bugs away! Outside is your playground! There is plenty to explore and enjoy. Walk through the flourishing market garden to cut fresh flowers or baby green for your salad. Pick ripe fruit from the orchard or simply stop to watch the pollinators. If you make your way to the pond there is a dock with two loungers, and the fire pit set up of your dreams. An overhang provides shelter for a hutch and cut firewood. String lights come on as the sun goes down. There is also a table with bench seating and a wooden swing overlooking the water. Further down the path is a little boat house for our pedal boat. The winch set up and u shaped dock makes it easy to use. The pond is FULL of bass and fishing poles are provided. We do ask that you respect the fish and catch and release. On the backside of the pond is a trail head for a short nature walk through the mature pines and hardwoods down to a little babbling creek.
