Truly enjoyed this place! It is everything that Todd said it was and then some. Very peaceful place and very private. Lots of Realestate so parking for larger vehicles is not an issue. Plenty of places to rest and relax both inside the house and outside.

My family decided to watch the 2024 total solar eclipse for our annual trip, and Jolly Cabin was the perfect location. In fact it was better than we could have imagined. The cabin itself was lovely and had everything we needed to relax, entertain, make meals, and just spend quality time with one another. Todd also left us a very helpful guide to amenities and nearby attractions. The location was exceptional, being a 4 minute walk from beautiful views of the lake, and less than a mile from dining options. The neighborhood was lovely, so we opted to walk to the restaurants a couple of times and we definitely spent time exploring the trails behind the house. This was hands down one of the best airbnbs we’ve experienced thus far and we certainly hope to be back soon!

We had a great time over Thanksgiving at the cabin in the woods. The photos in the listing are very accurate, including the deer family in the backyard. It was great to be right on the mountain bike trails and so close to the lake, but also be able to walk to the restaurants.

Lovely home that feels completely outside of the city despite being near DFW. Everything you need for a stay away from home is here. Peaceful forest and lake surroundings, and the homey, comfortable feel is perfect!! We will definitely stay here again.

This is our 5th time staying at The Jolly Cabin. This is an incredibly special house and property with amazing decor and hosts. We feel like we have arrived from our home away from home every time we come there, and can’t wait for our next visit.
