We had the pleasure of staying at the Cole Lake Haus and it exceeded all expectations! From the moment we arrived, Jay, the host, made us feel incredibly welcomed and was quick to respond to any inquiries we had. The wood fired hot tub was an absolute highlight, offering stunning views and a tranquil atmosphere that made it difficult to leave. Spending evenings watching the stars from the tub was magical. The Haus itself was more than perfect, equipped with every amenity we could possibly need. It's evident that a lot of love and attention to detail went into crafting this cozy retreat. Our group, consisting of two families with children ranging from 9 to 3 years old, found the space to be comfortable and accommodating for all. Two particular features that our kids absolutely adored was the reading nook, and drum set! Our time at Cole Lake Haus was so wonderful that even my child asked if we could “live there always”! Needless to say, we'll definitely be returning, Thank you, Jay!

What an amazing place! From the beautiful lake where we watched the sunset to the incredible cottage where we spent hours cosy by the fire and relaxed with a book in the reading nook. This place is special, so inviting, beautifully open and decorated with so much space for cooking and just spending quality time with the people most important to you and then the wood fired hot tub is just the icing on the cake. We will be returning soon.

We had the most amazing time at the Lake Haus with our family of 9!The cottage was beautifully furnished, the amenities were fantastic, and the location was perfect for a relaxing getaway. Our kids range in age from 14-24 and they were all happy! The reading loft, the gym equipment, musical instruments, and hot tub….. Everyone was more than happy and entertained. We also loved the QR Codes for WiFi and how things worked. Our hosts were fast at responding to questions and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. From cozy nights by the fireplace to family game nights, every moment was unforgettable. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would give it 5 stars without hesitation!

Absolutely amazing! My husband and I needed a few days rest away from the city. Really happy we chose this Lake house! We’ve stayed in off grid rentals before, but this is top of the list in terms of luxury and usability. No interruptions in power at all. Very clean, bright and gorgeous furnishings. The lighting features in this house are exceptional. Learning curve was really quick to figure out how things worked. There are QR Codes around the house for easy instructions as well as QR codes to scan WI-FI. Really clever and easy. Main bedrooms-bedside plugs for electronics and the bed was really comfy. You can tell this is a family home as the kitchen was well stocked with good quality cookware. I really appreciated this. TV area- awesome! Cozy sofa, throw blankets, great TV and Sonos sound bar We really enjoyed the hot tub! You get the nack for heating pretty quick. Jay was quick to respond. Will be back in the summer for sure to enjoy the gorgeous deck and swimming! Thank you!

Simply Outstanding! The Cole Lake Haus has spared no expense. It is one of the most well thought through and welcoming places we have ever come across. All off grid, including a wood fired hot tub, it does not sacrifice any creature comforts. The great room is enough to house a small village making it a perfect spot for a large family dinner, but it is also quaint and quiet. Light floods in from ample window space and if that’s not enough there’s a beautiful 2nd story wraparound deck that can be accessed from almost everywhere. From light switches and blinds to QR codes for internet and operating the wood stove, everything is meticulously labeled. You will not struggle to find anything you need. Read by the fire or play a board game with the kids - again, it’s all there and easy. The hosts were very friendly and equally responsive, however, between the comprehensive manual and well placed labels, you likely won’t need to contact them. If the weather is less than idea
