This property is based in the tranquil countryside of Knockrooskey on the R330 Westport to Galway Road. Take a walk down the "Old Road" to the Westport Country Lodge Hotel, which has great food and drink in a beautiful setting. The bustling Westport town center which is just a five minute drive from the house, has great local shops and restaurants with some of the best seafood in the country located in the Quay area. The iconic Matt Malloy's pub has live traditional Irish music seven nights a week. Croagh Patrick, Ballintubber Abbey, Ashford Castle, Achill Island, and the beautiful beaches of Louisburg are all sites to see while you are here.
