This is not an air b and b place nor is it a hostel either. It is more like a cheap hotel. The room was suitable. The rest of the location was unpleasant. The room was not clean at all and the air con was super loud. But the price was good for what you got.

Aureliano was really helpful when it came to giving me pointers on where to go for local, independent birdwatching once I was finished with an outstanding tour of Isla de la Plata, which included close encounters with many groups of whales! I like the hostel itself! it's a little expensive (about $15/night for a single) by Ecuador standards, but this is to be expected along the coast and the room includes a private bathroom and hot shower so value is still good. Great hammocks for use on the property. Although you cannot use the stove, you can still use the fridge and prepare fruits, veggies, cereal, etc.
