fantastic last minute 2 night break. The home was relaxing atmosphere as soon as we arrived. Peaceful location. House had everything we needed to switch off for a couple days and enjoy the surrounding countryside. The home was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The garden room was perfect space to just switch off in.

We were blown away by the house and it's location. Everything about the house and location is top notch. Extremely comfortable beds, great showers, well equipped and pristine kitchen. Roomy and well laid out open plan living and kitchen area. There is nothing not to like about this house and it's location. We loved the spacious garden, the 'hobbit houses' and the sun room further up the garden with amazing views of the Mourne Mountains. It's an idyllic retreat space and yet within minutes of Newcastle and Dundrum. Plenty of walks around the Murlough Reserve and the beach is 20 minute walk across the reserve: that lies at the back of the house, or closer if you drive down the road to Twelve Arches car park or pay to park at the National Trust car park, both a minute's drive away. We were loathe to leave, but alas, all good things must come to an end. I would go back again at the drop of a hat and I can't recommend the house highly enough. A privilege to stay there.
