自我介绍

I am Oane Herbert and I am the manager of Herbertdale, a small Guesthouse in the heart of Kwazulu- Natal. I've worked in the hospitality industry pretty much since leaving University but for me it wasn't love at first sight like you would think. Instead, I wanted to teach as this is what I have spent 4 years of my life qualifying for. I got a teaching job and we had a manager running Herbertdale for us. I fell pregnant and had our adorable son and after a couple of months I found out I was really sick and couldn't have more children. The Lord had a different plan and I was blessed with another pregnancy which gave us our beautiful daughter. I was forced to stay at home for 2 years after she was born as I was medically boarded and during this time the Lord took me on a journey I never thought I would go on. I fell in love with the idea of hosting people and wanted to do it on my terms. I decided to make some changes and turn this place around by making it my own. I brought my creativity and style to the rooms and my personality into the way we receive and host our guests. We are not just another Guesthouse in a small town. We have a certain culture that we strive towards. The Guests that stay here come back because they enjoy the whole experience they get when they enter through our gate. You arrive at Herbertdale feeling like you are a guest but the minute you leave you become family and the next time you visit you feel like you are back at home. Not only do we have a passion for people but we are also the only pet-friendly Guesthouse in the area and any pet you want us to host alongside you will be welcomed with the same love and care. As long as your fur baby is potty-trained, friendly and on a leash when leaving the room we are happy to accommodate them. We would love to get to know you a little better.
