This place is a gem. The house is very cozy and much more spacious than what shows on the pictures. The location is great; we could see the beautiful blooming tulip field from our bedroom window. Lisse, Leiden , Haarlem and Schiphol Airport are just one bus-ride away. Sassenheim station is also close by when traveling to big cities like Amsterdam, the Hague or Rotterdam. Also, the small town of Voorhout is quite charming to have a nice walk around. The hosts have been promptly in touch with us before, during and after the trip. Overall, we had a wonderful time and very much enjoyed our stay. Highly recommended!

Lotte and Juan are great hosts who met us and showed us around the property which is ideally located for trips to the coast, The Hague, Amsterdam and other places by road or rail from a local station. They had also provided the makings for breakfast which was very welcome. The property is easily within walking distance to Teylingerlaan which has good shopping and dining facilities. The King size bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable making for very good nights sleep. One small point of concern is the proximity to a very busy road which did result in some road noise and light pollution when watching the TV. Overall a wonderful stay and a property that we would certainly recommend.

We stayed at Juan‘s and Lottes place for ten days. My husband and I really enjoyed our time there with our little dog. The check in was wonderful, Lotte already stored a few things for breakfast in the fridge. Lotte and Juan speak English fluently, also Lotte‘s German is good. The hosts are extremely nice, they gave us tomatoes from their garden a few times. When you arrive at the house, the beds are already made and Lotte provided lots of towels, so you do not have to bring these and you can have less luggage… Every time we had questions, we received answers within a short time or in person. The backyard with the little pigs and hens is wonderful. The house itself is really well equipped, you find everything you need and more :-) The rooms are big and flooded with light. Everything is well maintained and clean. You even have Netflix, board games and books. The location of the house is a good starting point. You are at the dog beach within 15 minutes by car. Also, you can find stores, bakeries and a supermarket within 15 minutes by food. The only negative point for us was, that the road in front of the house was busy. So when you step outside the house in the morning half asleep, for going for a walk with the dog, be prepared that there is a lot of traffic and bikers. All in all I would recommend a stay at Lotte and Juan’s place, we had a great time there.

Nous avons passés un agréable séjour chez Lotte & Juan. Tous les deux sont adorables, la maison est très jolie et bien située. Nous avons été très bien accueillis avec notre chien en prime. Si vous voulez séjourner aux Pays-Bas, voici la location qu'il vous faut. au plaisir !
