Sara was a very responsive host. The apartment we stayed in was very clean and modern with good amenities. We were able to make use of the kitchen and washing machine without issue. The beds were comfortable and clean. The apartment is located next to the Tram 26 stop which makes it easy to get to and from Amsterdam Centraal. The neighborhood has many families and children playing throughout but businesses close on the earlier side.

Two days prior to our arrival we were notified by Sara that the apartment we had booked had a fault and we were being ‘upgraded’ to another one round the corner. There was only four beds despite us being five adults. I queried this prior to our arrival and was told there was a fold out bed supplied with additional towels etc for the fifth person. Given the short notice we felt we had no other options to find alternative accommodation and accepted. Once we arrived it was clear the apartment was set up to accommodate four people. There were four chairs round the table and four glasses. There were spare towels but only hand towels, no bath sheets. The fold out bed had loose screws and was fairly unstable. It was very small and only suitable for a child. There was a fault with the electrics, we had to use the main fuse to get all the lights and sockets working. Sara refused to resolve issues once Airbnb support was involved. Sara refused a partial refund but we were offered one by Airbnb.

Sara was a lovely host, very responsive to any questions. She was patient when we took longer to arrive at the place than expected. The place was lovely and very clean! Great stay with a great host!

Sara was kind and really helped us out! The place didn’t match the description but Sara was a superstar with getting us what we needed.
