Adorable, rustic and idyllic cottage in the middle of nowhere. Quiet and peaceful. Listening to the sounds of nature and surrounded by such simple beauty. The ‘magic shower’ as my son calls it, is special and definitely a change showering outside! Great restaurants and cafes nearby. Our host Elyse was always available and able to answer all our questions! We will definitely be returning again very soon! Happiness

Really enjoyed staying here during a weekend spent exploring Gatineau Provincial Park. The view from the cabin was beautiful and my husband and I took full advantage of the available canoe to paddle along the river. The cabin itself is really vintage and reminds me in so many ways of my grandparent's place. Elyse was a great hostess.

Small/cozy cottage with lots of trees & privacy. We had fun hiking & canoeing every day. The deer also came to visit us every day. We would go again.

We absolutely loved our stay at Elyse’s little cottage. It’s a gorgeous little gingerbread style cottage with everything you need. The bed is super comfortable and the linens are fresh and clean. The Gatineau River is beautiful water and perfect for swimming day and night. The cottage has a peaceful outside shower which was another wonderful aspect of the property. It’s perfectly secluded but a quick bike ride to the Village of Chelsea. It’s also the perfect location for cyclists that want to ride the rolling Gatineau hills. We will be back for sure!!
