The Place: Secured behind a well-fitted gate that doesn't block any views, Richard's property has three casitas on beautiful grounds with tropical plants, grass lawn, and an elevated terrace with a shared outdoor grilling area that has a view of the horizon. There was a hammock and outdoor table with chairs under palm trees, right outside our casita. What a great pool! There is a saltwater pool which was pristine, and the perfect temperature. Our casita was so great! It had a perfect little kitchen, with a gas stove top, fridge, filtered water tap, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a full bathroom, and screens on all the windows and doors. The location: The place is perfectly located within walking distance to several beaches, restaurants on every block, and shopping nearby. La Punta is on the opposite side of Zicatela, and was a short ride on the colectivo. The host: We loved Richard's warm demeanor, willingness to go above and beyond, and overall kindness... a true superhost.
