Welcome to Palmar La Punta Studio! By Costa Rentals providing functional, simple, tranquil stays for your vacation. We are located 3 blocks from the ocean and one block from the main street full of restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds in La Punta. The Studio apartment is in the second floor of the property, is completely private with AC and has a matrimonial bed, closet, full bathroom (NO HOT WATER), fully equipped kitchen, dinning table. The Studio apartment is located in the second floor of a share property, the main entry to the property is share with the guests of the rooms downstairs, across the small patio you find the stairs to the second floor. The apartment is fully furnish and has AC, a matrimonial bed, closet, night stands, ceiling fans, full bathroom (NO HOT WATER). The kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals it has a stove, refrigerator, coffee maker, blender, cooking pots and pans and cooking utensils, dinning table with three chairs and a small hallway balcony with stools. *PARKING INSIDE ONLY FOR MOTORBIKES* Gate opens without a key, please don't block the entrance. FREE STREET PARKING, NO PARKING ALLOWED IN OUR SIDE, street well illuminated and surveillance camera. La Punta is a place full of nature and insects like mosquitos are normal of a tropical environment we fumigate once a week, but we want you to be aware that we cannot control nature. * if you need an extra fumigation during your stay, let us known during working hours* (9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Mon - Fri / 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M Sun). The property is share with other guest and that comes with sounds and movement, although the apartment is private and we have a noise curfew, be aware that this is normal in a share property. Also we are located in the heart of La Punta an area flourishing with businesses that are allowed to be open till 12 by municipal order although we are conveniently located two the street behind the Main Street we want you to be aware of the proximity noises this brings. As well as developing constructions nearby, this is beyond our hands and we can’t do anything about the issues this can cause. * Keep these in mind before making a reservation, as there will be no cancellations or refunds base on these matters*

Had a maintenance issue and Damian and Margarita were eager to help and quickly resolved the issue. Place is perfectly located and room was comfortable and a great value. I would recommend staying here!
Great location right next to the beach! The AC is amazing and the room is built in a way that it keeps cool. My friends also took airbnbs in la punta and this one was the best I’ve seen. Would totally recommend!

El departamento es muy bonito y tiene una muy buena ubicación, llegas a la playa caminando. Cuenta con aire acondicionado y eso es un gran plus. La comunicación con los anfitriones fue muy buena, desde que se realiza la reservación te envían toda la información y durante la estancia contestaron muy rápido a nuestras solicitudes y dudas. Te dan la opción de dejar tu equipaje en resguardado y usar areas comunes si así lo necesitas, lo cuál se agradece muchísimo pues no todos los Hospedajes lo permiten. Definitivamente lo recomiendo

La Punta is a known surf spot in Oaxaca, the beach is a favorite of locals to watch the sunset or enjoy the day at the beach, also at the end of the beach there’s a light house on the rocks, during the low tide is possible to walk through the caves on the rocks and access the beach in the other side.
Aside of all the beautiful nature that surrounds us, La Punta is a thriving place for local businesses from restaurants, coffee shops, bars to stores of all kinds.
We are located in the heart of the neighborhood, a 5 minutes walk to the sea and a one block from the main Street where you can find anything you might need.
We are a 17-minute taxi ride from the airport
The best and cheapest way is Wigo van, Wigo is an airport service that brings you to the location for 100 pesos *Prices vary from seasons* but you need to share the ride with it other passengers.
*Taxis inside the airport charge around 200 pesos, don’t pay more!!*
*There is no direct public transport that goes from the airport to la Punta*
*From the ADO terminal or the center of town you can take a small white pickup with blue*
*cover in the back* tell them to la Punta, they will leave you in the entrance of la Punta by a store call
7+1 from there is a 10 minute walk downhill to the location.
*There is also a big bus that enters la Punta* white color,it passes in front of Chedraui*
*Also there is a brown taxi that does the same route* is a share taxi with other passengers*
These pass every 30 minutes, ask them to drop you at La Chula taqueria in la Punta and you'll be 1 minute walk to the location.
Public transport and share taxi cost 15 pesos, a private taxi cost around 100 pesos.

If you like to explore the other beautiful beaches nearby like Zicatela, Puerto Angelito, Manzanillo, Carrizalillo, Coral, Bacocho, they are all within a 30 minute max distance by car.
*None of the public transports leave you directly on the beach*
There is one public transportation bus that enters la Punta, it doesn’t have an specific time but it usually enters every 30 minutes, is a big white bus.
There is also a brown taxi, that is shared with other passengers.
