Designed by renowned Colombian architect Simon Velez, this luxurious tropical house boasts a guadua (Colombian bamboo) ceiling—a true piece of art. Supported by 56 columns and a curved structure reminiscent of a whale skeleton, it spans 1,265 m2. The column-free roof along the front and back, measuring at least 8 m wide by 57 m long, seamlessly integrates the house into nature. Common areas beneath this exquisite roof have no walls, enhancing their integration with the surroundings. The house has four rooms of thirty-six square meters each, all the same size, arranged two on each side of the large living room, dining room, kitchen, which is in the center of the house with a large majestic corridor that runs from one end of the house to the other. The four rooms have a masonry main bed of two meters by two meters in the center and two beds of two meters by ninety centimeters each along the side walls of each room. The two rooms at the end of the corridor on each side of the house have a spa-type bathroom with an outdoor shower and walk-in closets with a dressers and air-conditioning. The rooms on each side of the living room have large bathrooms with a traditional shower, a mezzanine with a sen atmosphere and walk-in closets also with dressers and air- conditioning.
