I used private homes instead of hotels when i traveled abroad which made my stay a lot more comfortable and less tiring. In my place, for a fraction of hotel cost, you can enjoy home like atmosphere with all necessary amenities. especially you can get valuable information and insight from me. You can rent one of multiple apts - dependng on the location and size. All my apts are fully equipped with own kitchen, own bathroom, washer, dryer, fridge, TV, internet, induction range, microwave oven, linens, cooking utensils, waste baskets. etc. Ideal for people who want to experience local area - still easily accessible to business district and major tourists' spots. Being in local area means - you can eat, shop, drink, walk around, meet local food at local price. - learn the culture in a short time. Before you book another nite of airbnb in Korea, do yourself a favor and ask these questions. you will never go wrong or at least not coming to me after a wrong booking. This has happened a lot to me. 1. do i get the entire unit with kitchen and bathroom or is it shared by other guests? 2. how old is the building? ( most airbnb are 40+ years old) 3. is it in officetel? ( about half of the guesthouses are officetels are it is illegal) 4. is it on 1st floor or semi basement? ( basement and 1st floor- no security, dark, damp-cheap rent) 5. do i get my own wifi? or shared? 6. can i control heating/cooling/hot water? ( most hosts control centrally) 7. is it too cheap? you will end up in a chicken cage. * the cost of 1 year contract unfurnished studio units in seoul as a rule of thumb - near subway station: 600-800 usd per month - far from subway station: 400-600 usd per month. ( requires a lager deposit and maintenance cost) Less than 1 year - the cost is 10~50% higher. Talk to me if you want a great value in addition to a positive experience. Please do understand, though, i choose guests. not based on color, race, nationality, religion, sex. but on compatibility and the ability to respect others.
