The apartment is located in a charming Parisian Haussmannian building (built during the historic period of 19th century) with a fireplace, located on the 6th floor without an elevator. - Spacious, bright living room with sofa, TV, dining table, air conditioning, a historic fireplace - Independent kitchen, fully equipped with microwave/oven, coffee machine, dishwasher, kitchenware, utensils, washing machine - Cosy and calm master bedroom with a double bed - Modern bathroom with a showser/bathtub, equipped with all the essentials such as shower gel, shampoo and hairdryer Your south-facing bright livingroom overlooks the skyline of Paris. The bedroom faces the quiet courtyard and assures you to have a good night of rest.

I couldn't recommend Charles' place enough. Having stayed in other places in Paris, here you get a lot of room for what you pay. The apartment is exactly as shown and described — cozy and very stylish, with a beautiful view and a quiet bedroom. The 11th arrondissement is now my favorite part of Paris — youthful, modern, and lively. There are a lot of great restaurants and cafes nearby. Charles was kind enough to give a great list of nearby places, but I would also want to recommend Le Servan which is just a minute away — a French-Asian restaurant at which I had the best meal in Paris so far. Charles' apartment is located nearby different train stations but a walk to Pompidou takes only like 25 minutes through some beautiful small streets. As far as hosts go, Charles is the best you could ask for — responsive, welcoming, and very flexible. This might actually be the first Airbnb ever I try to book again.

It is within 8 minutes walk to the famous Père Lachaise Cemetery, within 15 minutes walk to the nightlife of Bastille. It is also very easy to access the Marais district (4 metro stops away).
