We had a great time in the yurt. It is well located along the canal, has everything you need in it, we could even use the kayaks to go explore the canal - great host, would come again if I didn't live so far away.

Great place to stay. Exactly what we were looking for. Excellent hosts and property. Lots to do in surrounding areas. We will be back!

Would recommend, was fun staying in a yurt. Definitely nicer than camping (comfy bed and full kitchen set up) but with the benefit of still feeling like you’re outdoors. Was fun to be able to take the kayaks out on the canal too.

We had the most wonderful stay at Paula & John's in their yurt. Although just staying for two nights, we were able to use all the advantages of the place: kayaks, boat tour, barbecue and campfire in the evening. John and Paula are absolutely lovely hosts and were supportive and available at all times. If you like the idea of real camping and spending time outdoors, this is the best place to stay. Highly recommend it and would love to come back!

Location is great! We loved kayaking on the canal. The yurt is sturdy, dry, and a unique experience. The bed is comfortable but most of the remaining furnishings inside and out are old, worn, and tired. This place could be more of a gem with some much needed updating. Bring a padlock for the door, for some reason one is not provided.
