Charles place was a great place for our last minute trip. It’s about a 15 minute stroll from there to pineapple grove and that worked out for us, we felt safe and Charles was very responsive the couple times I had questions. Would stay there again.

It's frustrating when a management company markets its properties through Airbnb, as is the case with this property. To me, it goes against the spirit of Airbnb, where owners genuinely care about their guests' experiences. The company's host ignored some of my questions and was brief in his responses. While the apt. was very clean and pleasant, offering us two bedrooms—a perk over a nearby hotel that charges comparable rates for a single room—it's hard to overlook the exorbitant costs of staying in Delray. This property maintains similarly high pricing. We took the wonderful free Freebie rides to beaches and restaurants, and once walked two miles to the beach, which is an easy walk. I took long neighborhood walks in the early morning, but I wouldn't feel comfortable walking around at night. Overall, I didn't like being threatened with fines for not taking out the trash, which says $50 on Airbnb and $200 in the house manual.

Everything went as expected. The host was communicative about the process and expectations. The location is pretty good (walking distance to stores and restaurants and tennis center). The place was clean and we had no issues at all and no reason to contact the host.
