This bright and modern cottage in Monument has easy access to everything! Just outside of downtown Monument, 8 minutes to the north gate of USAFA. Plus this house backs up to a great park with a creek, fields, and small play area for kids. You're just off Mount Herman Rd with miles of access to Mount Herman and national forest for camping, biking, or whatever you're into! We were recently Featured as Modern 2BR Cottage in Monument Near USAFA & Park by Pic2Click, complete with a virtual tour! Ch Monument is a quintessential Colorado experience. You'll be located near Monument Lake for plenty of family fun, including fishing, kayaking, and paddle boarding! Also, within walking distance of downtown Monument, two regional parks, and numerous hiking and biking trails. You're just a 10-15 minute drive to ATVing or camping spots. If some of your group wants to go hiking while others go shopping, this is a great base! Layout: - Single level, bright and airy - 2 bedrooms, with 1 full bathroom - Open kitchen/dining/sitting area Bedrooms: - Both bedrooms feature king beds - One bedroom includes a desk if you need to get some work done Centrally located: - 2 minute drive to Downtown Monument with tons of cute shops and restaurants. - 2 minutes drive to beautiful Monument Lake - 8 minutes to the north gate of USAFA - 25 minutes to Garden of the Gods - 35 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport - 1 hour 10 minutes to DIA Entertainment: highspeed internet, and a Roku for Netflix, Hulu, etc.

Really enjoyed the stay. Jamie and Ryan were very proactive in communications and making sure I had everything I needed for my stay. Overall, a very positive experience. I would stay here again.
When we got there, we were thinking it was the main house because there is not a 244B listing on the Airbnb website. Also, there was still stuff all over the kitchen table no trash bag in the trashcan. There was hair in the toilet and around the toilet, there was no towels.
This was an interesting stay. Originally, we didn’t notice additional fees for check-in, so we asked thirty minutes later to get out of reservation. They denied it. When we get there, the sheets are dirty, we sent pics to the owners and got an automatic reply they said they would report back. Nothing happened. The flooring was not well done and popped up in certain spots. No TV’s in the room, only one in whole house. Also, a train is really close and woke my wife early one morning. It is fairly close to Colorado Springs and Interpark shops. Overall, we felt it was an OK place if things were handled better, but for what we paid, the value just wasn’t there.
Very nice place to spend the weekend, the nearby lake is beautiful, restaurants nearby, the only thing is the cleaning there was a lot of dust

This neighborhood is an established neighborhood with lots of large trees and a park and playground 2 houses down which you can get to through the back gate. It's very family friendly! From the park, you can also see the train that runs nearby, our daughter loves to watch it. You're nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and just a few minutes drive west to Pikes Peak National Forest!
You'll be within walking distance of Monument Lake (12 minutes) and of Downtown Monument (15 minutes) with lots of cute shops, restaurants, etc. Just out the back is access to a large park with lots to do. A car is still going to be your best mode of transportation for anything outside of Monument, obviously.
