If you like the architecture of an 1830s Casa Rural, but with all mod cons, our lovingly renovated apartment in the old hay barn, could be the place for you to disconnect and relax. Feed our friendly sheep, collect eggs for your tortillas, pick tomatoes from the vegetable garden and enjoy our extensive rural views. Beautiful walks and cycle rides are on your doorstep. Three years ago we began renovating the apartment in the old hay barn of the house. We soon realised that we were uncovering some beautiful original features, like the original vaulted ceiling beams, dressed stone doorway with 1830 carved into the top stone, and beautiful old stone walls. Since then we have lovingly reformed the apartment with top quality materials, into a blend of rustic charm, mixed with modern convenience, and a simple sleek style. On entering the apartment from the outside steps you find yourself in the light and spacious lounge, fully fitted kitchen, and dining area. From here you have wonderful views of the countryside. The lounge has a double sofa bed which is suitable for either two children or one large teenager. Also supplied is a foldable single guest bed available for a younger child (please request this before arriving ). You then enter through a hallway into the bedroom, with its comfortable king size bed, ample wardrobe and drawer space, and a window which offers more rural views. This is a cozy space with ample rustic features. The bathroom is spacious and modern with a rain shower and large cubicle, and a light up mirror above the vanity sink. Toiletries are provided.
