We visited CasArena with our large family group and it was a great layout for our family with children. The beach was clean and ocean was great for swimming and close to the villa. The staff were very helpful and gave recommendations. We definitely will be staying here again.

This was our third visit to El Portillo and we loved everything about our stay. The two staff people, Michael and Glendia were fantastic. We were a group of three adults, three kids, and a baby and they were very warm and caring with the children. Glendia made the best San Cocho that we’ve ever had and the kids asked if we could learn to make it the same. Michael went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, especially when we overestimated our Kayaking skills and he paddled out to help us. They were very thoughtful, noticing what the baby liked and making some for us to take home. The property itself is really nice, steps from the beach and you can always hear the waves. You can either rent the entire house or just one side, we got the entire house and were very happy with it. The two sides are identical. The kids loved the pool. The beach is never crowded and the waves are just big enough to be fun but not intimidating for young swimmer. Highly recommend this place!
