The listing says this place is a rare find, this does not do justice exactly how amazing this place is. Honestly there is no words to use, one just needs to go there to experience it themselves. I can elaborate on my experience though. We went here with our 2 year old and he was at home straight way. He always loved the farm life and that is what he got. Every morning he wanted to go see the geese in the trout damn and then later the day it was a short drove anyway to see goats or cows. The accomodation it self was on a different level. The attention to detail will satisfy any perfecionist. We found it easy to relax and enjoy the stay, whether inside at the fireplace or outside enjoying the view from the river and the sunset. We had everything we needed and more, if i could i wpuld have stayed longer. This is a place i would recommend and would like to return to. Lastely, Yolande was extremly friendly and very helpful with guides and things to do and checked in if we were sorted.

Beautiful space in a beautiful place! Well equipped, clean, close to shops yet remote (perfect location). Would highly recommend for a family stay. The Burn has everything you need and more. Would love to go back.

Although you are literally on the town doorstep, you wouldn't even know. The setting is great. The location was perfect for what we needed during the weekend...traveling daily to another venue. And then there is the wow of the accommodation itself. All in all this is a lovely space in a beautiful place....we will be back for sure!
