The Albert Inn is a conveniently located 2 bedroom upper apartment in the historic "Albert Kaddatz House". This apartment is one block away from Riverside Park, the tennis courts, the city swimming pool, and the Rock River in Watertown Wisconsin. It's also a short walk away from Watertown's historic downtown Main Street, many local restaurants, coffee shops, shopping opportunities, grocery stores, and is located 1.5 miles from Watertown Regional Medical Center. The Albert Inn is the private upstairs apartment in our duplex. We've lived downstairs since 2009 and absolutely love this historic house. Our house has not always been a duplex in fact, at one time it was a grand single family home built by Albert F. Kaddatz in 1909. Albert was a well known mason and artist in Watertown at the turn of the last century. He was also responsible for building several other houses in our neighborhood (his style is unmistakable) some of which you may enjoy seeing on your visit here. This home was converted into a duplex in the 1960s and has remained that way ever since. You will enjoy a private two bedroom apartment while you're here. The master bedroom is spacious with a large walk in closet (even has a window!) and a sleep number queen sized bed. The 2nd bedroom is a cozy corner for two featuring a twin sized bunk bed and a smaller closet complete with hangers. The bathroom is the perfect size with plenty of clean extra towels, washcloths, hand towels, and space left over for personals. There is a lovely eat in kitchen complete with an extendable table (additions in the kitchen closet) and everything you could possibly need to cook anything from a breakfast to a banquet. The kitchen looks out into the living room featuring two extremely comfy couches, a work space desk, a record player, family games, a guitar, a smart tv, and lots of comfy blankets in the trunk coffee table. We have a canoe available for guests to use at their leisure. River access is 1 block away at Riverside Park. There are 3 life jackets (2 adult, 1 child) and 2 oars stored in the coat closet as you enter the stair case.
