Really nice listing overlooking the Marino Ballena National Park beaches. This rental is part of several casitas owned by the same host, but they are all well separated and private. The house is gorgeous, and it’s got amazing views of the “Whale’s Tail”. The host was super kind and responsive, and welcomed us in person. The bedroom doors are a little faulty, and the remote control for the pool lights was not working. Other than that, the house seems brand new and the beds were very comfy. The only thing to consider is the distance to the main road (20+ minutes on my 4x4 pickup truck), so some additional planning required for groceries and to visit any of the beaches nearby. Also, take the advice and drive a 4WD vehicle since the road is gravel and steep.

We stayed here with our family of five for one night on our way to Corcovado national park. It’s a 20 min drive from Uvita town up a hill and part of the road is quite steep but the location is beautiful and quiet with spectacular views of the sunset. The house is modern and has a small pool to cool off in. Lots of cool birds around the house, including toucans!
