I am still reminiscing about this stay and probably will be for quite some time. Ava was an excellent host from start to finish. Accommodating, quick to respond. She left very little to be desired and I can say the same for the space. The instructions and video provided made check in a breeze. I was fortunate enough to be greeted by the housekeeper who made me feel right at home, providing a welcoming smile and assistance with my luggage and a welcome note + souvenir. The space was well decorated, truly a creatives’ dream space. Studio layout but it never felt too cramped. This is a ground level unit but the blackout curtains and opaque windows provided more than enough privacy. There is noise but hopefully no one is coming to New York City expecting silence. I grew to love waking up to the sounds of the city and spent many mornings/nights on the private rooftop deck. Great neighborhood, very walkable, friendly and I never felt unsafe. The location was perfect. I was able to stay near by a local friend, there is plenty to do within walking distance, and many easy ways to make it into the city for a day. Great spot right across the street for coffee and bagels and you get a *beautiful* roof top to enjoy a little quiet time in the morning. I was very surprised being street level that it was truly super quiet most mornings. Ava was a great host, very quick to respond. She even gave me a screen shot with grocery stores circled near by when I asked for recommendations on arrival. That and check in and check out instructions were easy and super clear for me to manage, which I really appreciated. All of this and I haven’t even mentioned yet she had a very sweet note and a puzzle of Brooklyn for me when I arrived! It was great to know I already had a souvenir, took that right off my to-do list.

I booked this studio because I needed a place to stay in this area of Brooklyn and this looked like the best place by far (including hotels in walking distance). It was exactly what I needed. Ava was a great host. very responsive and proactively in touch. The description and pictures were accurate. Checking in and out was a breeze, and some of the best NYC bagels I've had were a couple blocks away. The only downside was that it's on street level of an active street, so was on the noisy side at night. But I travel with ear plugs which completely took care of that and the bed was comfortable. I'd happily stay here again when in the area.

Ava was super responsive. Our plane arrived early and she allowed us to drop off our luggage early while it was being cleaned so we didn’t have to lug it around while we got lunch. The location is directly across the street from a delicious coffee/cafe shop that we went to every morning. In addition it was close to walk to the L and M metro, and had good restaurants and a wine bar around the corner. The washer/dryer was right outside the unit so super easy to do laundry. There’s a rooftop deck, but it was too cold while we were there to use it. Again, Ava was a very responsive host to any questions or requests I had which I really appreciated.
