Tons of recreation awaits mere minutes away; biking, climbing, hiking, fishing, and of course fantastic ski resorts. Managed by owner Created as the ultimate vacation rental, this house features a stunning kitchen, a massive master bedroom with soaking tub, two upstairs suites with full baths, one bedroom downstairs, and a bunk room with 8 twin beds. All the woodwork and much of the furniture was hand built from wood harvested from the property. The 700 sq ft covered deck features a hot tub, BBQ, outdoor dining table, and tons of seating. This 6 acre property has an outdoor fire pit area, picnic tables, hand built log bridges across the seasonal creek, two beach areas (depending on water levels) and access to a community trail that follows the Sandy River. There is even a large cleared outdoor area that would be perfect for weddings or other events. Michael was a fantastic host and responded to any question quickly and thoroughly. The house was beyond expectations and exactly what our big group needed. The area was very private and felt like you were deep in the woods. I highly recommend!
Amazing place y house was very pretty and lots of space perfect for a big family very well equipped ! Had games to do and a very good view my favorite part was my room the one with a window in the ceiling nice view to the sky the kitchen was beautiful just like everything else really made us feel like home 5 stars I do recommend and hope to go back soon!
Great brand new house. Perfect retreat from the city. Very good layout and works just as well for a small family or a group. Really liked how the house integrated wood from the property into some of the furniture pieces to give it a cohesive feel.
Our family of 14, including grandparents and young kids, truly enjoyed Michael’s place. Great layout, spacious kitchen, a bathroom for each bedroom, comfortable beds, board games, a hot tub that was ready for use at check in, a gear room by the entrance for unloading boots and snowboards. Super clean and comfortable! Michael was very responsive and provided helpful instructions on how to find the house. We would stay here again in a heart beat.
The house is beautiful, immaculately clean, spacious, and peaceful. I skied at Meadows and loved warming up and recovering in the hot tub on the deck afterwards. The kitchen is huge and was stocked with everything we needed. The handmade wood dining table and nightstands are gorgeous! Internet was fast and consistent. Great stay and great value!

Nestled by the Sandy River on Brightwood Loop Rd, you feel miles away from civilization, but in reality are less than 5 minutes away from HWY 26 near Zig Zag. At mere 20 minutes from Timberline Lodge, you can beat the traffic up the mountain to ski without having to get up too early.
