If you are looking for a quiet location where you can kick back, grill a steak and enjoy a cool drink with family and friends, this is the perfect location. Enjoy morning coffee on the large deck, watch the wildlife and just enjoy the quiet. In the evening, sit around the fire pit and roast some S'mores while telling those old stories or soak in the hot tub and stargaze while you completely relax. The Retreat is located off Highway 9 in a small valley. There is a large deck with iron tables and chairs. Walk down a few steps to the hot tub and fire pit, Below the fire pit area, there is a large enough grass for your family or group's favorite outdoor game, If finding secluded spots is more your speed, we have 50 wooded acres to explore. Inside is a fully equipped kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, a dining area, a great room and an additional loft bedroom upstairs. In the great room, you'll find a game table with several games. There are also books to read, If you prefer snuggle up on the sofa or in an easy chair and watch TV. Each downstairs bedroom has a queen bed, one with a trundle bed. Upstairs in the loft are two bunk beds. The bottom bunk is a queen bed and the top bunk is a single. There is a desk and chair in the loft, if you wish to do a little work while you are there. There is a full sized washer and dryer, in case you need to do a laundry, with detergent and dryer sheets for your convenience. Shampoo, conditioner, soap, and body gel are provided. Also tissue paper, toilet paper, paper towels, dish detergent, dishwasher detergent, hand sanitizer, and Keurig coffee pods (Folgers) are provided. The Retreat is a 50 acre property off the beaten path. As such, it's not uncommon to find wildlife, snakes, and bugs. Always be aware of this fact and act accordingly. You are welcome to explore all you wish on the property. There are also hiking trails and bike trails nearby. There is a trail- riding outfit not far from us, and Blanchard Springs Caverns are only a short drive from us and Mirror Lake are only a short drive.. Downtown Mountain View has lots of antique shops and specialty shops. Restaurants are closed on Mondays, except for the Mexican Restaurant and fast foods. In the evenings in Spring through Fall, there is music on the square. The City Park has a disc golf course, as well as a Golf Course nearby. he Ozark Folk Center is nearby and has lots to offer.
