On the ground floor of a historical and large house, divided into 4 apartments, 2 of which are lived in by a small family all year round and the third is used only in summer.
The house is surrounded by a beautiful garden, in the middle of a large organic "agriturismo", on a hill: 130 hectares of olive groves, oak woods, fields and streams. We produce extra virgin and organic olive oil.
Some of the farmhouses on our estate are rented out as agriturismo holiday homes, instead, this apartment is located in our private house.
It has its own terrace with dining table and umbrella overlooking a shady garden.
From the apartment you can go for walks, trekking and jogging in the greenery and woods. We are surrounded by other large estates, so the house is surrounded by nature, and the estate offers very beautiful and restful views of the greenery (hills, fields, olive groves, valleys, oak woods).
The nearest supermarket is less than 10 minutes away by car, with the town of Tavernelle just beyond. Here you will find several restaurants, coffee bars, bakeries/pastry shops, a weekly market, other supermarkets, etc.
The house is not air-conditioned, but it is located on the ground floor and is very cool, even in summer.
The house is reached after 1 km of dirt road.
It is an excellent base for visiting many characteristic villages and cities of art, both in Umbria and Tuscany: Città della Pieve, Chiusi, Panicale, Castigione del Lago, Perugia, Orvieto, Asssi.
Lake Trasimeno is about 30-40 minutes away.

A car is necessary for reaching the apartment and for touring the area. We are in the countryside and there is no public transport.
Closest train stations (cars can be rented here): Chiusi-Chianciano Terme (30 minutes away) and Perugia (at about the same distance, but has less trains).
Closest airport: the small Perugia international (40 minutes away);the airport with most flights: Rome Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci (2 hours and a half away).
