Tiny studio is a cute but simple little space inside a compound in Siargao. It shares a wall with a loft but has a private entrance, private kitchenette, and private bathroom. Take it easy in this down-to-earth & homey getaway in Siargao. It’s an area in General Luna that still boasts of local life & tranquility. It’s about a 10-minute drive to the town center and a 15-minute drive to Cloud 9. The beach is also only 2-minutes away and Secret Beach is about 5 minutes away by scooter :) Tiny Studio has a queen-sized bed facing a huge glass window to view the garden. We love big windows over here which thankfully means loads of natural light coming in. Your bedroom area opens up to a little kitchenette where you may cook anything you please. There are pots and pans, a stove, a kettle, mineral water to drink, a mini refrigerator, plates, glasses, utensils, and more. You also have your very own bathroom which is quite unique! Keep in mind we're on the island, and we are living the simple life but the necessities are there mixed in with a little charm. There's a water heater, a fully functioning toilet, and a bamboo ladder meant for hanging your towels and wet swimsuits. And the floor... Gosh, the floor! It's full of pebbles-- perfect for giving your feet some good old massaging while you shower hehe therapeutic maybe? But in any case, you might not think so, we can lend you slippers for that :) Tiny Studio 1 and Tiny Studio 2 share a wall with a loft-sized house which are both located within the same compound. There is also a small local shop, studio 3, and studio 4 which will be renovated in the coming year (2025). It is all fenced-in, so don't worry! But yes, you will run into other people during your stay. There are a few dogs on the property who tend to bark but honestly, they're the best kind of alarm (security) system! :) If they are bothersome, don't worry! we have some earplugs in handy for ya. At the other end of the compound, 2 sisters share the space with us. We believe the compound is such a great way to delve into a more local experience here in Siargao. The compound is rich with bamboo, coconut, an array of plant species, small animals (like rabbits), and a garden. Once in a while, if you go out at night, you'll see the trees covered with fireflies. It's so beautiful. The sisters living in the compound are great-- some days you'll get to interact with them and if you're lucky you'll catch one of them carving some coconut meat out of the coconut shells, and cooking some fantastic dish. They don't usually use their "natural" stove as often anymore but it's pretty cool when they do. They throw in a few barks of wood to start a fire, and put in the pots. Don't be afraid to try the food. After all, eating is the best way to get to know our culture!hehe Lastly, the compound has a big front lawn with ferry lights and an outdoor table which you may hang out in :)
