Jason is a great host, and is very responsive and helpful. There is a lockbox for check-in, but Jason was flexible about my arrival time and said that I could drop off my bag earlier if the room wasn’t quite ready. The Derwentwater room is on the first floor and the layout of the suite is small, but manageable. The bed and bedding were all very comfortable. Tea, coffee and biscuits were thoughtfully provided along with a microwave, toaster, kettle and fridge for snack meals. The shower room is modern and was in pristine condition, and there was also ample room provided in the large wardrobe. Jason and Alison are environmentally aware, which I appreciate, but it was interesting to have to figure out which switches turned on which appliances - although some explanatory notes were left. One of the best things about this property is its location, and there are some really good cafés and live entertainment spots close by.

Perfect place for our weekend away. Jason and Alison were very friendly and welcoming, great suggestions too! The room was clean and cosy, had everything we needed! Location could not have been better - ideal for exploring Keswick. Will definitely be returning! Recommend this place 100%!!!

Lovely little studio apartment right on the edge of Keswick town centre. Great base for hiking, sight seeing, shopping or access to other Lakeland areas. Enough of a kitchen to cater for simple meals if you don’t fancy eating out. Shower was amazing, bed was super comfy and nothing was too much trouble. Lovely little balcony that gets the sun in the afternoon/evening. Will definitely be back.

Jason was a perfect host. Unintrusive yet very responsive and eager to help. The accommodation is well equipped, cosy and private. Suitable mainly for the able-bodied being up a flight of stairs. The availability of worry free car parking just one minute‘s walk away is definitely a plus. Invaluable! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back. Thanks Jason!

We had an amazing time staying here. Right in the centre of Keswick, and yet a quiet and peaceful location in a lovely house. Close to lots of places to eat and drink and the shops and loads of beautiful places to walk close by. All the necessary items in the room. a great shower and ideal with basic kitchen facilities in the room. The terrace was great although sadly we were unable to use it due to the weather! We will definitely stay here again when we visit the Lakes next time.
