It was a great stay! Responsive host and very clean and neat place. Feels just like home. As we have 2 children, we didn’t walk from CIQ. Took a grab that seems to make a detour. Not sure if it is because it is the eve of a PH, and the PH itself. There was plenty of honking of the cars due to congestion even around 11plus at night and early morning on 1 May.
The place is new and cozy. The staff are easy to contact. They given the check in and check out clear and easy
Great place overall. Our family of four came to JB for the first time via train from singapore. Very easy to get to, extremely new development so the whole place felt fresh! Pool was great, didn't get to try the gym but had a quick peek and it looked spacious and well equipped. Lots to do in the area if you're here for shopping or eating. If you're after some peace and quiet, easy to stay in and kick back. My only minor qualm is that the bathroom tiles get a bit slippery when wet; not a problem for adults but our toddlers definitely needed all the clinging they could get. But then again that is the same for most bathrooms. Definitely would love to come back again

Grab is recommended for getting around in Johor Bahru. Driving is also convenient.
