I echo every positive reviews previous guests had posted. Definitely one of the best places to stay in this area. Extremely close to the train station and town hub. Also walkable to Union College for events on campus. There was a Sunday farmers market right in front. Lots of parking space. Quiet and spacious rooms. Farid is on top of responding to me. It was so easy to check in and out. Since i don’t have too much luggage, the two staircases were okay to deal with. Again everything is perfect and I’d definitely recommend!

We'd highly recommend this nice, roomy apartment in downtown Schenectady, located on Jay St, and only a 2 minute walk to Proctor's Theater. There are many restaurants nearby (we had a superbTara Kitchen dinner, and a tasty Ambition Cafe breakfast! ). Jay St turns into a cute little pedestrian shopping street, right next to the apartment, with a well-stocked bookstore, and many funky shops! We didnt have time to stay to have some Pizza King pizza for lunch, but that's where you'll find your genial host, Farid, tossing pizzas! We plan a return trip for pizza and another Proctor's show, soon! Be aware that the apartment is up 2 flights of stairs, but worth the climb! The door codes made it so easy to come and go. We found Farid responsive, friendly, and welcoming, and we were glad to get to chat with our host. We'll be back again!

We stayed at Farid's place after a long day and fairly long, late drive. We needed a later than usual check-in (9pm) and knew it would be a quick stay. What we realized is that it would have been nice to stay longer! The apartment was clean and just the right size for 2-3 people. Farid's pizza place below the apartment was a PERFECT and DELICIOUS snack when we arrived. Yum! Parking was easy, but for anyone who is physically challenged, the steep and narrow staircase to the third floor might be difficult. The best part was the location, as the bars and restaurants on a beautiful Saturday night were lively (even though we were too tired to get involved). Se were plasantly surprised by downtown Schenectady and would definitely stay at Farid's place again to spend more time there. Seemed like a nice area for walking and experiencing some good food. Great location that was super close to lots of cute shops & a great clean place that has everything you need! Farid was very communicative & polite. Just know there are some stairs to climb to get to the apartment but it was still very worth it & I would stay again! :)

The bathroom sink and mirror were covered in toothpaste residue on arrival and the kitchen floor needed to be swept. After my boyfriend's fall, Farid didn't even bother to reach out and see if he was OK even after offering to call an ambulance for him. Although a great location within walking distance to a lot of sites, it is extremely noisy especially at night. The bathroom amenities that were supposed to be included were men's products and I also had to purchase oil to cook with.
