This place was great! Had plenty of parking for boats and trucks. Very clean home! We had one issue with the shower piping that leaked that didn’t allow us to shower. It’s a home and those issues will arise. They were notified and will get it fixed. It’s a great place to get away with friends and family. Close proximity to legendary Lake Fork for you Fisherman!

I stayed at Ulber's property with my sister during the April 8, 2024 eclipse, and it was perfect. It was peaceful, away from bright city lights, wide open space, with a nice area around a firepit to sit and watch the event. We loved watching and listening to local animals (birds, insects, horses) during the event, and walking around the property. The house was clean and spacious, more than we needed but still very comfortable. A thunderstorm rolled in while we were there and knocked out the power for a while during the night, but it came back on before morning and we still felt secure in the house during the storm. Definitely would recommend Ulber and the property in Quitman for anyone wanting to get out of town for some peace and quiet, or a family retreat.

great place to stay. only used as a hotel. visited family elsewhere. overall good stay. only down side was no place to dump trash.
