This large and spacious family holiday home is the perfect place to bring the extended family and even the family pooch. Suitable for up to 3 families with four bedrooms, two bathrooms and extra toilet this large family home sleeps up to 12 with a comfy Queen, King and Super King bed set up in three separate rooms and cosy bunk room for up to 5 kids (2x bunks and trundler). Upper bunks are for children only. A pull-out couch sleeps an extra two in the second kids TV room if required. The house is fully equipped with everything you need including smart TV, dishwasher, microwave, electric frypan, hairdryer, full laundry facilities, portable cot and highchair. The fully equipped kitchen leads into the cosy lounge area overlooking the mountains which is toasty and warm in winter with a log fire and ceiling fan. The main lounge contains a smart TV with Netflix and Freeview built-in. The kids have their own space in a small separate kids lounge with TV, plenty of games,puzzles and selection of DVDs. Relax in your pick of several outdoor seating options; undercover seating and BBQ area, separate deck overlooking the mountain views or the private courtyard complete with outdoor fireplace. The property is fully fenced with a large grass backyard area perfect for the family dog to tag along with the fun.

This place was fantastic for our family to meet up and stay for the weekend to celebrate my mum's 75th birthday and mothers day. Lots of room for everyone. Would definitely recommend and would love to book again in the future.
We were a family of 6 adults, a toddler, a baby and two little dogs, staying for 3 nights during Autumn. We had a wonderful stay as a family and found Susan's place warm, inviting and well-equipped. Highlight was the toasty fire and late morning sun pouring onto the deck and living areas. We loved the many outdoor options and the dogs enjoyed the fully-fenced space to roam. Susan's communication was impossible to fault and we were in touch for the duration of the stay. She was super accommodating - even clearing out the garage for us so we could park our AC Cobra! She allowed us a late checkout, too, which was really helpful as we tried to wrangle the little ones and the departure clean. Highly recommended as a family accommodation in Hanmer - thanks Susan!
The place was great and we enjoyed the stay. The location is a wee bit from town but there are good paths to get into town if you don’t want to drive. Overall a fun stay in a beautiful part of NZ

Situated on the edge of town, you’re just a 4 minute drive or 20 minute walk to the Hammer Springs Thermal Pools & Spa and town centre. Even closer is the Hamner Springs Animal Park and Amaze N Golf and short stroll to the Hanmer Springs Golf Club.
Plenty of driveway and off street parking available. Getting to the village and hot pools is just a few minutes drive or take the gravel walkway into the township.

We’re a couple from Nelson, who have enjoyed the Hanmer Springs region for decades with our four (now grown) children. We still love to visit the area often and ride the mountain bike tracks and visit the pools. Aside from Hanmer Springs, we love to visit Golden Bay, Lake Rotoiti, Marlborough sounds and Kaikōura with our trusty caravan and wee pooch Millie.
