Dirt Bikes & Mountain Bikes & Snowmobiling: Just down the street is access to a plethora of Hiking & Biking & OHV (Off Highway Vehicle) Trails, all throughout the Tahoe National Forest, and passing beautiful views of Prosser Reservoir, and even a Dirt Bike Jump Course at Prosser Pits! This same area is a Snowmobilers dream during Winter! Prosser Reservoir: Just down our street, Prosser Creek Reservoir is a beautiful lake area in the Tahoe National Forest. It's sprawling shoreline is popular for canoeing, paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, and swimming. Beached areas depend on lake level and can vary through Summer. PJ's Restaurant: "Come for the food and stay for the views! Set in the shadow of Mt. Rose and home to epic sunsets, PJ’s is unique in that it’s one of the only places in Truckee where you can dine outside and experience the surrounding grandeur. Our experience here was lovely! The property is very well taken care of and the instructions and house rules are very clear. Everything is very organized and welcoming. The cupboards/drawers even had photos so you know where to put the dishes away. Bonus—children’s toys and activities! Big screen TVs in every room. Very comfortable and clean space. Hope to return!
We had a great stay. House was very clean and well stocked. Look forward to staying here next time we are in Tahoe!
Overall the stay was great. There were a few things we needed to communicate with the host about, but they were very responsive. The kitchen was well stocked and there were plenty of extras stocked throughout the house…game closet, toiletries, snow sled and more. We will consider renting here again.
