It was a beautiful spot, absolutely gorgeous views of the river, and the host did communicate well and made sure we knew he was available to help find the place, ect. There was definitely a lack in cleanliness, even for a camping spot. There were a lot of wasps and a bird inside of the tent. The place had not been cleaned, there was also some kind of small animal feces(not rodent) under the bed. The comforter smelled pretty bad, and there was mud and grass all over the entire floor inside the tent. If the cleaning was taken care of it would have been an absolute paradise

Wonderful anniversary trip! My husband and I stayed 3 nights and had an incredible time. The weather was perfect, we were here end of March early April. One day was a little hotter than expected but when you’re camping that can happen. The walk to the campsite isn’t long at all however the hills are no joke and I certainly wouldn’t recommend you driving or attempting to drive your vehicle directly to the spot. Adam was great to accommodate giving a ride to the location with his vehicle but I would give him ample notice just out of respect of his time and generosity. The campsite itself was great! Everything you could think of needing was there. Beautiful location, easy access to river with kayaks. Keep in mind the river is going upstream from your location so if you aren’t familiar with the river be sure to ask Adam where you might end up lol. Bed was comfortable and the stove will def keep you warm at night. My husband I enjoyed the place & will be back!

First of all, I learned the hard way that my car is NOT a jeep 😆 so after I drove down to the site and couldn't get back up I'm sure my gracipus host Adam wanted to pull his hair out. But at the end of the day he graciously helped me and saved the day and got me out in a breeze. DON'T BE LIKE ME LOL. Over all Adam was a patient and gracious host. The site itself is beautiful, if its a colder time of year definitely bring an extra blanket, because even with the wood stove the fire may go out when you're sleeping, it did for me and at 33 degrees I was a bit chili. There is lots to explore around and my dogs loved it. There are plenty of supplies to cook with. Overall its a lovely spot so I wouid definitely hope that I wpukd be welcomed back! Worth every penny.

It was a beautiful weekend getaway for me and my fiancé for our one year anniversary, plenty of room for a big dog plus 2 people, It is the perfect place if you’re looking to get away with you’re loved one, Adam was very helpful and had the space very clean for us and had wood ready to burn, all in all it was perfect we will definitely be coming back.
