We really enjoyed our stay at Alice’s place. It was convenient about 5minutes drive from Wanaka town. Perfect base for a few nights while we did some hikes around Wanaka area. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils. The place is well heated that we felt warm as the temp outside dips in cold nights or early mornings! Would love to come back again! Thank you!
Lovely warm home with comfy beds, great bathrooms and generally, you feel like you’re at home. Couch is uncomfortable for elderly parents being so low to the ground but other than that, it’s a gorgeous home!
Alice’s place is amazing! We had such a great stay. Easy to locate and very near the town & lake Wanaka. Nearby wineries and eateries too. She prepared many kitchen accessories which was amazing - even had NZ Milo available for us! Bathrooms were really clean. Heater was great but sometimes a little inconsistent when the water runs during shower - might get a little too hot sometimes. Highly highly recommend this place - we loved our stay in this beautiful city! Mattresses were very comfortable, proper parking & clothes line for drying is available too. Thanks again Alice!

Wanaka has very little public transport so you are best to have a car for any adventures. There are wonderful taxi and shuttle services available. 20 minutes walk to the lake and town centre, and 7 minutes walk to the local cinema, the medical centre and the stunning Wanaka golf course.

Hi my name is Alice, I am a wanaka local who lives here with my young family whilst hosting multiple Airbnb properties in the area. Although I don’t get too involved with the extreme sports Wanaka has to offer, I do love a good walk, a local wine and food combination mixed with a view. Love meeting the new faces that come and go through our beautiful town, as well as making connections on my own travels.
