MyGf& I stayed theHistoricHostel.The hosts failed to followup on Checking-in. Lack of communication like essential details such as our Unit #, Code, & Wi-Fi info. Despite our anticipation of receiving instructions by Check-in time 3:55PM, we had to inquire about these details ourselves upon arriving. lack of preparation, given 4 hours in advance to send out info.Condition of the place was below standard. We were given 1 throw-on blanket & a sheet from a bed cover. What host gives a thin blanket? there is no temp control btw. FOUL ODOR from both M+Female restrooms w/ NOVentilation. Moreover, NO LOCKS in the Fem shower room upon entering. Absolutely unacceptable, a guy could walk in, therefore a privacy concern. My gf was walked in on while changing, & she was HALF NAKED.M shower room locks dont work too.This is not our first time going into a shared space.Camping sites with shared restrooms have exemplary hygiene & upkeep @other facilities.They have no empathy btw if u confront to them
This place is located right above a pizza shop that is open until 3 AM both Friday and Saturday night. Your room is literally right above it, and they play music as loud as a club, so my room was literally vibrating with this music, so much so that I had to leave the same night and stay at a hotel nearby because it was impossible to sleep. I would not recommend this place if you actually want to sleep. The host was not understanding, and while I’d days a noisy area, the host did not disclose this room was located directly above a pizza place with crowds of people, and bass music literally reverberating underneath your bed. Would never stay here again.

As described!! Clean and cool place but if you are looking for a restful nights sleep! This is not the place for you. Loud music, people screaming, drunk fighting , and speeding loud cars till 3am!! Barely got any sleep. It says quiet time is from 10pm-8am. Good luck with that. I would recommend this place if your coming to stay up and explore the city but not if you have a meeting early in in morning. I ended leaving the place around 4am and slept in my car near La Jolla beach. I still have the place 5 stars because it was clean. But warning ⚠️ you will not get any sleep.
