Marion was such a good host! She made us feel at home. My colleague and I were traveling on business and found this place to be just the perfect fit for our stay. In addition to the beautiful views, we were treated to delicious slices of blueberry lemon cake, and, my favorite, the espresso brownies!

I feel so grateful that my partner and I got to spend the night of the eclipse at Marion's beautiful house. Marion was incredibly friendly, accommodating, and generous. She helped us feel very at-home, while also cared for and considered during our stay. She made the most delicious lemon blueberry cake for us to enjoy and brewed us tea in the morning. The views from the bedroom were stunning: the river, the trees, the snow-capped mountains. We slept so well in the big comfortable, cloud-like bed, and appreciated all of Marion's thoughtful touches (like the towel-warmer in the bathroom!). The house is full of character and artful decoration, and the Wifi is solid. I taught a two-hour Zoom class in the downstairs lounge (which was graciously offered as a private space for us to enjoy) without any trouble. Stowe is a sweet town and we had the best dinner in years at Cork Wine Bar one night. Thank you, Marion, for opening up your home to us!

Marion's incredible, off the charts ratings are 100% on point. She is amazing; her home is spectacular. I felt so at home. All of the amenities are high quality. The home is clean and spacious - including my bedroom, dressing room and the private study, which is essentially a living room and dining area with the same spectacular views, furnished beautifully. I could have had a fire every night and cozied up with a book after my days' activities in the study but I accepted Marion's invitation to join her and a friend for Prosecco and a lovely fire in the kitchen/living area. It was simply delightful and I feel like I have made a lifelong friend. But your private spaces are large enough that you are free to do what you want. Best of all, Marion's famous lemon blueberry bundt cake is to die for. If you are looking to enjoy Stowe and Vermont, I can't imagine a better place. I absolutely will be back!

My husband and I originally planned to stay at Birdsong Farm in Stowe for three nights but enjoyed it so much that we asked to stay one more night. Marion is the quintessential hostess. Everything about our stay was well thought out. Birdsong Farm is lovely, comfortable, beautifully appointed, and has amazing views of Mount Mansfield. It also overlooks a lovely yard and the river. In addition, it is convenient to the center of Stowe and the mountains. Everything about our stay was special. We definitely will return. Thank you, Marion, for your outstanding hospitality.

Everything was wonderful at Birdsong Farm! The space was clean, cozy and spacious. Marion was a great hostess, kind, helpful, generous, warm and inviting. And the breakfast cake she made was delicious. Marion was super accommodating when we had questions or needed anything. And then there was the guard dog, Sweetiepie…such a precious little furbaby! I really wanted to take him home, and as nice as Marion and Brian were, they wouldn’t let me! 🙂 The bed and all furnishings were plush and comfortable and the space was no less than amazing. We willl definitely be back!
