Discover this charming and cosy private 2-bedroom abode in the heart of Fox Glacier, on the West Coast of New Zealand. Nestled in a central location, this home offers views of Mount Cook and the towering Southern Alps peaks from the master bedroom and outdoor dining area. Although attached to a larger house, this space is exclusively yours with a private entrance. It's fully equipped with a kitchen, bathroom and washing machine. The perfect getaway in the heart of New Zealand's natural beauty. The annex spans three levels. On the ground floor, you'll find the kitchen and bathroom. The second floor houses the master bedroom along with a comfortable living/dining area and a dedicated workspace. The master bedroom is very large and there is the option to add a roll-away single bed in this same room on request. The topmost floor features a quaint attic, perfect for a relaxing Netflix session or as an extra bedroom. This property is adjoined (but exclusively yours and is private) to the larger house which is also an Airbnb Listing. There is the option to rent both units if this is of interest please check my other listings and find the listing for whole-property rental. There is a third separate cottage on the large property also. Please note this is usually occupied by guests also.

Eunice was very nice and gave us a lot of travelling guides and tips. The wifi is a bonus for us. Enjoyed the view from the window and sill definitely come back again.

You can walk to town and to many short hikes but we do recommend having your own vehicle.

Hello, I'm Eunice, Australian born living in NZ. I Married my husband Michael (Kiwi) 45 years ago. Our House is located 110m West of Fox Glacier township & is run by third generation farming and tourism family (Eunice & Michael Sullivan) one of the original founding families of Fox Glacier.. We have 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 cats. My interests are gardening, cooking. My main hobby is patchwork & quilting. Our bedrooms are all set up beautifully with my own homemade quilts. My husband Michaels hobby is classic trucks and other vehicles. He has 2 restored International Trucks, 2 Motorbikes, 1 MGB car. I have been hosting for 24 years, and still enjoy meeting people from all over the world! Fox Glacier lies within the breathtaking World Heritage Listed Area on the South Island's West Coast. The glaciers are certainly some of the most attractive tourist destinations in the South Island of New Zealand and a must-see for all visitors to the West Coast. Under the watchful gaze of both Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, the two tallest mountains in Oceania, Fox Glacier snakes for almost 14 kilometres down the mountains. A pristine natural wilderness surrounds both the glacier and the township and provides a host of different scenic views as well as trails and bushwalks. For the adventurous, a range of guided tours offer glacier walking, heli-hiking, ice climbing and mountaineering courses. Or just sit and relax in one of the many cafes or by taking a stroll around beautiful Lake Matheson, the famous mirror lake located in Fox Glacier itself. The Nightlife is literally glowing with the Glow-Worm Bush Walk, a nice 20 min stroll just on the edge of the town. We hope you enjoy your time in Fox Glacier and look forward to seeing you soon!
